David Ugelow advises entrepreneurs, founders, and emerging growth companies on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and strategic matters. He has nearly 15 years of experience guiding clients through complex transactions, operational challenges, and key inflection points in their business lifecycle, including private financings, acquisitions, and large-scale commercial initiatives.

David has served in senior in-house roles for high-growth organizations, where he partnered with executive leadership to build scalable corporate operations, develop corporate development programs, establish governance and compliance frameworks, and lead major commercial, labor, and strategic negotiations. He also has deep experience designing and managing legal operations functions and supporting companies through rapid expansion and transformation.

In addition to his practice, David teaches courses on startup law and advising growth-stage companies. He serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where he teaches Law, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, and he previously taught at Brooklyn Law School. He also advises and serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.

David earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he received a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, and his B.A. in Politics, Philosophy & Law and History from Binghamton University, SUNY. He is admitted to practice in Arizona and New York, and lives in Tucson with his wife and two sons.
